Recombinant antibodies

Antibody Technologies applies mammalian cell cultures that are specially optimized to enhance the expression levels of recombinant antibodies. Using standard protocols, we deliver high-quality recombinant antibodies with high purity in a cost-effective manner.

Recombinant antibodies are expressed in HEK293 and CHO cells using optimized recombinant antibodies coding genes in transient transfections. Using this approach, a constant expression is ensured from batch to batch and even allows the production of specific antibodies to toxic targets.

Transient antibody expression

Based on this, recombinant antibodies are famous for high specificity, high quality and good yields.

Compared with monoclonal antibodies produced by traditional immunization, monoclonal antibodies produced by large-scale hybridoma cell culture in vitro exhibit high purity, high reproducibility, and fewer impurities without animal welfare issues.

Recombinant antibodies are virtually produced to any accessible target and validated by screening for reactivity in the intended assay(s). 

Recombinant antibodies may be directed to any target, which among others apply to:

  • Full-length proteins
  • Protein domains
  • Toxic proteins
