Momentarily Antibody Technologies provide services primarily in detecting  autoantibodies.

We offer high-quality in-house assays for detection of serologic markers of rheumatoid arthritis:

• Anti-citrullinated protein antibodies

• Rheumatoid factors

Rheumatoid factors and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA) are common in rheumatoid arthritis, although the rheumatoid factor is associated a number of connective tissue diseases and infections as well.  

The assays are based on traditional colorimetric indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays where the antigen is coated to the solid surface of microtiter plates, and the sample to be tested is added, where after bound antibodies are determined using an enzyme-linked secondary antibody and an appropriate substrate.
